The Beauty of Decay

I'm sure many would wrinkle their nose in disgust at this photo, perhaps think it was the result of a man-made oil spill. It is however completely natural. The iridescent sheen of the southern swamps is the result of the natural oils of decomposing vegetation. The cypress trees are doing their job breaking down the waste to its basic elements. Once the rains come, it will all disappear. I will feature this in an upcoming video (which may be delayed, as I have several competing topics at this point). Thanks! SP
