Summer 2026 Update

I know it's been a long time since I last added a new blog, my apologies for that. I am still busy with renovating the cabin and hope to have it completely renovated this year. My main focus right now is the bathroom. I built up a shower and have now finished the waterproofing and water lines. Last fall I tapped into a neighbouring well for clean fresh water and hope to have hot running water for two sinks and the shower before I have to winterize and shut them down!

The video cameras have been put down as I progress. I only do videos now if I feel I have something worth sharing, and there are much better videos out there on bathroom renos than I can offer. I have no special tips or cost saving ideas on this, and filming just slows me down!

Between my last push at completion, and some work I am doing to help a friend, I have steered away from my YouTube activity. Perhaps in the fall I can again share any new ideas or experiences, as I do have ideas. Being out of the limelight has been good for me, however expect to still do some videos on an occasional basis in retirement. I hope you all are enjoying summer and nature.
