Bye Bye Ozzy!

Sadly, Ozzy Osbourne passed away today at age 76. It was only a few months ago I went to Birmingham England and made my pilgrimage to the Black Sabbath Bridge, dedicated to the founding fathers of heavy metal: Ozzy, Geezer, Tony and Bill. Black Sabbath was a big part of my teenage years, and although I lost a few brain cells in that era, I've still retained some happy memories! I believe Mark Hickling (pictured right) actually saw the last Black Sabbath show this July 5th, but I was back in Canada. It wasn't Ozzy's best show, but that he even made it was an amazing feat for a guy who should have never survived the 1970's. Into the Void you go Ozzy, Rockin with Randy now! SP
