A Tapestry in Cold

Updated: Mar 25, 2023

When the sub-frigid temperatures of a maritime winter arrive, many stay indoors with a hot cup of coffee and admire from afar what lies beyond the frosty window. I say earn the cup of Joe first , put on a warm coat, scarf, mitts and warm boots and explore. Not only will that coffee or tea taste better, but the sights, sounds and smells of nature renew the senses.

This photo is of seaweed that was entombed in ice after the tide went out. It will be free again in 6 hours.

With spring around the corner, my video output will be less as the ground turns muddy. When a little green appears I hope to resume my travels. Thanks! SP
